Hi everyone! SO much to update you all on, but first let’s talk about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Since I’m a Level 4 cardmember, I got to shop EXTRA early at Nordstrom on Wednesday, one day before Early Access to the sale starts today! This was my first year doing this and it was A LOT of work. People joke that “shopping is my cardio” but I was in Nordstrom for so long, going through every department to make sure I got the best items, that I felt like I ran a marathon afterwards!
Just a quick note, Early Access started Thursday for all Nordstrom cardmembers. For those who do not have a Nordstrom card, the sale goes public on July 20.
After I got home from Nordstrom yesterday, I shot all of these photos really quick, so I have not edited them and some of the outfits are a little rough since I was trying to combine as many pieces as possible since I had to run to a first date last night haha. I had to move my mirror out to my balcony (so please excuse the balcony floor!).
I’ve learned a lot this year so my strategy will be MUCH better and cleaner for next year’s sale! The Nordstrom location I went to had A LOT of good stuff (and so many awesome associates working with me!), but they didn’t have too much in the shoe department, so I’ve already ordered a few more items in the Early Access this morning online that I will share when I get them. I am also bummed that my Nordstrom didn’t have the cute yellow shopping bags!
Here we go:
Caslon V-Neck Tee: I love using the NSale to pick up a lot of casual basics, so of course I picked up more than 1 white tee. This one fits true to size.
BP Brice Notched Bootie: I didn’t originally pick these out but I love how casual they are, and they are super comfy!
AG The Legging Ripped Ankle Skinny Jeans: I wanted to be very picky about denim in the sale this year and I LOVE how this pair fits!
Sole Society Mixed Plaid Scarf: Even though I have a million plaid scarves (oops) I had to get this blue plaid one!
BP Raw Edge V Neck Tee: This is long sleeved and so comfy! Comes in a bunch of colors.
Dreamers Nubby Cardigan: I wanted to get one really casual comfy cardigan that I could snuggle myself into and this was it!
Kork-Ease Elfa Bootie: I have never actually heard of this brand before, but I love this lace-up bootie that isn’t too clunky!
Free People Found My Friend Sweater: I love picking up discount free people sweaters! I love that this can be worn off one shoulder. I got an XSmall in this because Free People knits usually run big on me.
1.STATE Arnet Bootie: I bought these because they are different than any other bootie I own. Plus they are REALLY comfortable to walk in.
Leith Rib Wrap Sweater: This sweater is so adorable and I love the color!
BP Plaid Button Front Dress: Of course I had to pick up something plaid, I love the colors and the lace up back.
Topshop Bubble Satin Wrap Dress: I love a wrap dress and this color is gorgeous!
Steve Madden Petra Booties: I couldn’t resist these light snakeskin booties!
Leith Ribbed Shawl Cocoon Sweater: Good staple for a ribbed cardi! I just wore this into work today and I’m in love.
Leith Melange Wrap Dress: This wrap dress is comfy and flattering plus it has a v-neck (my fave).
Vince Camuto Jorlyn Mule: I love these studded mules!
Socialite Tie Waist T-Shirt Dress: I’ve been trying to step up my t-shirt dress game, and this one that shows your waist is perfect!
Rag & Bone Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans: My favorite jeans probably EVER! SO flattering! They run true to size.
Steve Madden Petra Booties: I bought these in black as well and they will be my staple black bootie for the fall!
Madewell Plaid Scarf: We all know how much I love red, so I had to get this red plaid blanket scarf.
Badgley Mischka Wool Wrap Front Coat: This coat is my splurge of the sale – it’s just such a gorgeous color I had to have it! This will sell out, trust me (I got the last small in the store)! This runs true to size.
WAYF Plunging Knot Front Top: I love WAYF and this top is no exception.
BLANKNYC A-Line Suede Skirt: This skirt will be very versatile with multiple outfits – also comes in grey.
Madewell Ryder Cardigan: This cardi is by far my favorite of the sale! So comfy and soft plus a good color selection! I had to get this in XSmall because cardigans usually run big on me.
Leith Tie Front Skort: This skort actually runs a little big so you can size down.
Leith Tie Front Pant: (Let’s ignore the footwear here…) I was undecided on these but once I get the right top to pair them they are going to look amazing! They run really large though, I have never been a small in bottoms before and these are a size small.
Caslon Faux Shearling Jacket: This jacket is AMAZING. I think this one is going to sell out fast so I would get your hands on it quickly. This is a size small because I wanted it to be a little big.
Halogen Wood Drape Front Coat: This runs extremely large and I was really debating if I should buy it, but I love that it’s warm with the drape front.
RAILS Hunter Plaid Shirt: The sale is the best time to stock up on RAILS shirts at a great price – these are by far my favorite plaid shirts in fit, color, and fabric! They have such cute patterns for fall!
BP Plaid Shirt: Comes in multiple colors and runs big (mine is an XS). This is perfect if you don’t want to spend the money on a RAILS top!
Chelsea28 Smocked Neck Top: I know, I know, another red top, but it’s really classy and cute!
That’s all I have for now – feel free to reach out with any questions you have about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’ll be back with more items once they arrive at my house 🙂 Have a great Thursday!
